Like Looking At The Waves

“I started this journey through my love of reading and a desire to learn. I have read the Qur'an many times, and can even recite many suras and verses in Arabic and Turkish verbatim. Some time back I went to a church to buy a Bible for myself and I read it.  I started with the Torah(OT), and continued with the rest of the Bible.  I think it was the soft loving language in the Bible that attracted me.

I have now read the Bible many times: taking notes, underlining, and putting question marks. I did almost all of this reading to learn, not necessarily to believe.  However, I eventually realized that I was on the path.  I have so many questions that may take a long time to answer.  Many of these questions are from my past and perhaps I have been looking for answers for some time.  However, as they say, it is great to be on a journey of research. Now I can truly say I am experiencing this feeling for the first time.

In my research, I cannot seem to find which one I should continue with: Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant. In my research however, I came across and read the 95-point thesis and decided to reduce the options in front of me. It was then I started going to the Protestant church.

There were so many questions that I couldn't answer on my own. During my search though, I found your YouTube channel by chance and watched almost all the videos you have uploaded there.  As I watched these videos, I got the same satisfactory feeling of when summer comes, and after not seeing the ocean for a long time, and finally I see it and just drink in its beauty! For this reason I want to thank you very much.

There are still many things even about Protestantism that confuse me, like the difference between a Baptist church, a Protestant church or Church of Light.  I have sent emails to all of them and am waiting for an answer.

Your guidance along this journey is very valuable to me and I'm sure it is the same for many people like me.

I do not know yet when I will say “Yes, now I am a Christian“, but if that day comes, it will not be long before I will drag enough people to the faith to establish a church.

My desire is to have no questions left unanswered. I want an answer for every question asked and every question I ask myself. Until that day comes your support is very valuable to me.
