Petra Media Group

Christian Broadcasting started in Ankara in 1998 through Radio Shema. Through partnerships the ministry expanded to Samsun in 2015, and to Antalya in 2016. In 2017, after it was seen that more than just radio was being done Shema Media Group was born. Again, through partnership broadcasting started in Mardin in 2018 and Midyat in 2019. In 2022 a station in Antioch was purchased. Finally in 2023 a station in Northern Cyprus was purchased. These 5 stations make it possible to reach more than 10 million people with FM Radio - and we continue to look for opportunities to expand, so even more people can hear the gospel. In 2023 some changes took place and at that time our name was changed to Petra Media Group.

RADIO PROGRAMS

The backbone in every radio station is the programs. To be able to send radio 24/7 Petra both produces its own original language programs and as well as translate and broadcast partner’s radio programs.

TURKISH WORSHIP

The power of music is undeniable, and the effect music has on people is greater than can be imagined. Good music moves people; good music makes life more enjoyable; good music makes people better. The emerging Turkish Church loves worship, and Petra Media Group tries to support through the production and distribution of local Turkish worship.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Petra Media Group is present on multiple social media platforms to reach Turkish speaking people all over the world. Many hear the message of peace and love, and responds on Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, WhatsApp or some of the chat forums, where Turkish believers are ready to answer their questions and hear their stories.
