Don't Let Anyone Else Suffer
*Serap from the region of Samsun listens to SamFM (Petra’s station) in Samsun and wrote via Whatsapp regarding her life struggles. This is what she said;
I am from Samsun and I am an Alevi. I had gotten married, but it should not have happened, because of a sectarian conflict and material struggles. My marriage has since ended, and I would not wish similar circumstance on anyone. I have returned to my father's house, but it would have better if I had died than to return to there. They acted as if I was not even there. Though I did not want them to, my family sold all my belongings. My family did not even give me the right to speak, and eventually I got kicked out from the house. My family has not even asked me how I am doing since then, and I have now been I suffering for three years, God knows.
I have now re-married and now I live in Sivas. My new husband thankfully is a nice person! I must have surgery on my teeth now, but the state hospitals are not taking care of these kinds of surgeries right now. My husband has a debt of 50 thousand Lira. To make things worse we want to have children, but I cannot bear children and I need to get treatments for that too. I tried working in places but there is no place to work here as I suffer from panic attack and am bipolar. Is there any way you can help me? I do not want to lie to you. I have suffered much! Do not let anyone else suffer these wounds. Thank you very much for your listening, God bless you
